Q1 2022 DIVIDEND INCOME REPORT
Welcome to my first dividend income report looking at Q1 April – June 2022.
I opened a stocks and shares ISA with Trading 212, this allows me to invest up to £20k each financial year (for clarity I am UK based).
In April 2022 I transferred over some cash savings into my stocks and shares ISA, to obtain dividends and reinvest them to compound the growth (my total investment and savings was £15k).
I have been keeping track of my dividend income throughout 2022 so far, I thought it would nice to share my personal investing journey with you. Going forward, I will aim to publish my dividends received on a quarterly basis.
April 2022 Dividend Income
Cash invested for first time in this month, so no dividends received.

- Toronto Dominion – £2.58
- General Mills – £2.19
Total – £7.50
June 2022 Dividend Income

In total, I have received £55.06 in dividend income this year.
All my dividend is reinvested straight back into my portfolio.
I am targeting £300 of dividend income from my Trading 212 account in 2022/23, and hoping that companies are able to continue to pay out despite global economic impacts lingering from COVID and the war in Ukraine. I am currently mostly focussed on the dividend income of my portfolio rather than growth, so every penny received adds to my investment and is much appreciated.
